Jordyn Forbes is a native resident of Atlanta, Georgia, circa 2000. In a family of three, her mother and brother, she is motivated every day into becoming an Orthopedic Surgeon. To pursue this goal, she has taken on the task of being a dual degree student at Agnes Scott College and The Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in Mathematics – Physics and Biomedical Engineering. In the future, her goal is to design a line of prosthetics to use in her own surgeries. 

In order to keep reaching towards the pinnacle, she looks to her mother and Steve Jobs, her top role models. Without them, she would not have been able to find her passion for technology and medicine. As a little girl, she has always wanted to follow in the footsteps of her mother in becoming a physician. With age, the dream became a passion and goal. Through the years, there were many obstacles and even those who told her that she was not cut out to be a doctor. In this, she was able to find topics that interested her and worked her curiosity side. This is how her dream turned into a reality in becoming a physician in Orthopedic Surgery. 

In her spare time, she loves to read and learn about new things. Since becoming a college student, she has spread her wings in finding new adventures in life. Now taking interest in photography, sewing, fish, and being there for others when you are needing.
